Few days ago Twitter has introduced their own tweet buttons for web masters.Now you can use this twitter button directly share your posts through twitter without any third party web site.So you and your visitors don't want to authenticate any third party web site to access your Twitter account.These new tweet button loads very fast and anyone can share your article with in few seconds.There are 3 types of Beautiful Tweet buttons : Vertical count, Horizontal count and No count.Here I am going to describe how to add these Twitter buttons to your blogger blog.

If you like o add these Twitter official share button to your blogger blog,then follow the steps given below.

1.Login to your blogger Dashboard--> Design- -> Edit HTML

2.Click on "Expand Widget Templates"

3.Scroll down to where you see below code:

4.Now Copy your "Twitter tweet button" code and paste it just below the above code.

NOTE: If you can't find

in your template, paste your "Twitter tweet button" code just before .

Blogger New Commenting Feature

Blogspot has a new feature implemented again - this time it's a new feature for comments.

Now you can manage the comments received on your Blogger blog. It will be with one of the tabs with the other navigation, such as Edit Post, Settings, Designs and Monetize.

Here's how the navigation bar look now.

With the commenting feature, now you can easily check on published comments, comments that are awaiting moderation and spam comments.

To be honest, it's almost like Wordpress now - except Wordpress has a "Trash" are once you deleted a particular comment, probably just in case you want to recover it back.

But when you delete comments on Blogspot, that cannot be undone.

This is how the "Published" section look like - with complete information such as comment author, commented blog post and the date.

Comments "Awaiting Moderation" section. It's self-explanatory.

And lastly, the "Spam" section. Haven't gotten any in my spam inbox right now, hopefully it works against automated spam comment bots.

Take note: It's not implemented on all blogs, yet. Only a handful of blogs has this feature - probably all will have it in the near future.

Commenting is one of the most important parts of blogging. it’s what makes blogging a conversation. Now Blogger has introduced 2 new improvements to Blogger’s comments system: Spam filtering(Spam Inbox) and the ability to view all comments on your blog in one place(Comments Inbox).

Comment Inbox

The Published sub-tab(under Comments tab) provides a similar view as your email inbox. You can see all of the comments on your blog in one place.

Also you can mark them as "spam",delete or remove content of the comments.When you mark a comment as Spam, it will be deleted immediately from your blog.

Comment moderation has also moved under the Comments tab and has been extended to allow you to mark comments as Spam.

Comments Spam Filtering(Spam Inbox)

To fight with spam, some of you enabled moderation of all comments or required word verification or login. While somewhat effective, these checks limit real-time conversations around your blog.To address this,Blogger have integrated Google’s spam filtering technologies into the Blogger comment system.

The comments in the Spam inbox are not visible to your readers. Here, you can permanently delete spam comments by selecting them and choosing Delete. You can also mark comments as Not Spam that have been incorrectly classified as spam.Choose Not Spam and the selected comments will be moved out of the spam list and will be immediately published on your blog.

Basic Template Installation:

1.First download the template and unzip the file.

2.Now, sign in to Blogger dashboard and click on the layout.

3.Here is the important step, after uploading any new Blogger template, all of the previous widgets like your google adsense ads,text,profile,poll,etc etc will be lost.
So, to avoid this to happen, in this step click on 'edit' on all the widgets and copy the codes into notepad,etc.

4.Now click on the 'Edit html' tab

5.First of all please Download Full Template.This is to back up your present template.If the new template that you are going to upload makes/gets into some errors or if you make more complex errors in that,then you will loose everthing.So make sure that you back up your template.

6.Just below that,there's an option of uploading new template.So, use the Browse button and upload the downloaded xml file.

7.Now, a message appear saying that your widgets are about to be deleted.Click on the Confirm & Save (no problem doing this because we already copied the widget codes in Step 3).

8.Now click on "confirm and save".Now you successfully installed the template.

8.Click on the 'Page elements' page now and add the codes that you copied in step3 using the 'Add a Page Element' option.

Go to Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML.

Then add the JavaScript decryption code after the tag in the HTML code of your blog. Copy and paste the following code:

Blogger in Draft's Template Designer now has a new feature which allows users to upload their own photos as background easily.

To do so, go to Dashboard > Design > Template Designer > Background.

Click on the "Background image" and you'll be able to see the "Upload image" feature. Click it and you'll be able to select the preferred picture as your blog's background.

According to Blogger in Draft blog, for images that fill the entire background, a resolution of 1800px wide and 1600px high is recommended and image size less than 200KB to minimize loading time of the blog. It support JPEG, GIF, and PNG format images.

At the end, additional background settings are available by using the Alignment, Repeat and Scroll options.

New Stats Feature on Blogger in Draft

Here's a new feature implemented by Blogger, however in Blogger in Draft for the moment. Once it's finalized, it will probably be implemented on Blogger as well.

Once you're on the Stats page, navigate yourself on the navigation to see more detailed information. The stats can be changed depending on your choice - Now, Last Day, Last Week, Last Month or All Time.

Overview Section

On the Overview page, the page views is shown.

Blog posts with the highest page views.

Short summary of the traffic sources and audience.

So basically it's like a summary. The stats of the blog can be roughly seen on this page.

Posts Section

On the next page, the Posts page, the more blog posts with the top highest page views will be shown.

From this, blog posts are giving the blog most traffic can be identified.

Traffic Sources Section

On the Traffic Sources page, more details can be obtained. The referring URLs, also known as links, that direct traffic to your blog.

The referring websites. Shows which website gives the blog the organic traffic.

And the referring keywords as well. Usually these are the keywords people search on Search Engines and got into the blog.

So these information is basically the sites and links that has given traffic to the blog.

Audience Section

On the last page, the Audience page, there's a page views statistics categorized by countries. Visitors' location can be identify by looking at the illustrated map and list.

Also, page view categorized by web browsers. The top used browsers used to access the blog can be known too.

And lastly, page views by operating systems. Pretty self-explanatory.

All in all, a little information about the visitors can be seen here.

Besides this default stats feature, other external Traffic Tracker and Statistics on your Blogger blog as well.

Few days ago, Blogger, has introduced a full-featured, real time stat service for your blogspot blog.The new Stats feature shows all traffic stats data of your bloggger blog, in a simple, easy-to-understand graphical user interface.

So now you can check traffic stats of your blogger blog without using any third party services.You have nothing to install or configure.It monitors and analyzes your visitor traffic in real time, which technically is not possible with other tools, not even in Google Analytics.

The coolest thing about the new Blogger Stats is that it monitors and analyzes your visitor traffic in near-real-time. You can see which posts are getting the most visits and which sites are sending traffic to your blog right now. For example, if a reader shares one of your blog posts on Twitter and the post is getting lots of clicks, you will see a traffic increase in Blogger Stats almost instantly, with the particular Tweet mentioning your post being identified as the traffic source. Of course, traffic data across longer time periods (day/week/month) and all-time historical data are available as well.

Right now it's available for Blogger in Draft only, but soon you can see this feature in your main Blogger dashboard.To check this feature,Login to your Blogger in Draft dashboard.You can see a link called "Stats".Look at below:

Click on that link and now you can check your blog traffic stats directly from blogger.Here you can check features like page views of your blogger posts,Traffic Sources of your blog,popular search keywords that send visitors to your blog, which country your visitors come from, and which web browsers they are using,etc...

This new feature will helpful to all blogger users to know what's going on with your blog right now.As a blogger I am very happy with this new feature of blogger.

What necessary actions need to be taken with a new blog?

Here are 12 things you should do after setting up a new blog with Blogspot.

First, head to the Settings and you'll be on the "Basic" section.

1) Make sure you have a good blog title and description.

2) If you want to drive traffic to the blog, pick "Yes" for "Add your blog to our listings?" and "Let search engines find your blog?"

After that, head on to the "Formatting" section.

3) Select the number of posts you want to be shown on the main page. The lesser the posts, the faster the loading speed of the homepage.

4) Adjust the time zone depending on which country you reside in.

Then, continue to the "Comments" section.

5) Select who can comment on your blog. It depends on how much you welcome comments from strangers.

6) Select the type of comment form placement you want. There are 3 choices and each of them are different. I'd recommend it to be embedded below post.

7) If you would like to display backlinks to your blog posts, select "Show" and the links will be shown. Indirectly, your readers will be able to access to the links if they are interested.

8) If you prefer to keep track and moderate the comments received on the blog, select "Always". Comments submitted will not be shown immediately as a result. Otherwise, select "Never".

9) I personally don't like guessing some funny words and type them out just to make sure I'm not a robot or some sort. But if you really want to prevent spam, by all means, say "Yes" to word verification.

10) If you like to see profile images of the commentators on the comment section, selecting "Yes" would be a good option.

Next, the "Site Feed" section.

11) Remember to allow the default feed on your blog so that people can subscribe to your blog and receive updates easily.

12) If you have created a custom feed on Feedburner or some other external feed manager, do include the feed link as well. It will automatically redirect your default feed to the custom feed.

Basic Template Installation:

1.First download the template and unzip the file.

2.Now, sign in to Blogger dashboard and click on the layout.

3.Here is the important step, after uploading any new Blogger template, all of the previous widgets like your google adsense ads,text,profile,poll,etc etc will be lost.
So, to avoid this to happen, in this step click on 'edit' on all the widgets and copy the codes into notepad,etc.

4.Now click on the 'Edit html' tab

5.First of all please Download Full Template.This is to back up your present template.If the new template that you are going to upload makes/gets into some errors or if you make more complex errors in that,then you will loose everthing.So make sure that you back up your template.

6.Just below that,there's an option of uploading new template.So, use the Browse button and upload the downloaded xml file.

7.Now, a message appear saying that your widgets are about to be deleted.Click on the Confirm & Save (no problem doing this because we already copied the widget codes in Step 3).

8.Now click on "confirm and save".Now you successfully installed the template.

8.Click on the 'Page elements' page now and add the codes that you copied in step3 using the 'Add a Page Element' option.

The Adrenaline of Speed Skating

Ever since I subscribed to direct tv for business at my office, I've been watching the Olympic's on NBC and one of my favorite sport so far has been the Speed Skating events. The quickness of the event and the amount of danger involved just gets my adrenaline running. You can tell that they are exhausted at the end of each event. During the finals (or in any event really) I always worry that one of them might slip and get cut on those sharp blades they use to skate. I'm more worried during the finals, however, because of the amount of pressure they are facing at that time and they might make a wrong move. My favorite athlete has been Apolo Ohno and it's great to see how he maneuvers on the ice when trying to sneak into the first position. Looking at those blades in High Definition makes me cringe at the thought of getting close to them, and I can't imagine being there like Apolo or the other athletes! The camera angles at the event make it great to watch without missing a single frame and the clarity of the images is amazing. I'm also a fan of the Men and Women's Super-G event but nothing beats that speed skating!

* Click Auto-update nameservers

* There will be notice that new nameserver will be active within 24-72 hours.

Nameserver Modifications completed successfully. You will need to allow a 24-72 hour propagation time for the DNS service to begin working.

* Still on DNS menu tab, click Manage DNS. There will be a new page, then click the CNAME Records, and then click Add CNAME Record

* Fill out the Host Name with www, then fill out Value with ghs.google.com , leave empty for TTL, and then end with a click on Add Record.

* After the process done, click the A Records tab. Then click Add A Record tab.

* Leave empty for Host Name, and then fill out the Destination IPv4 Address with 216.239.32.21, for TTL let as it is. Then click Add Record

* Do the step of Add A record three times, but with different IP: 216.239.34.21, 216.239.36.21, 216.239.38.21. You will then have four records.

* The above step, adding the IP, is aimed to avoid error when your blog is accessed without www.

* To set up CNAME on domain is done, the next step is setting up on your blog in blogger.

Below are the steps to set up blog in blogger.

* Please log in to blogger with your ID

* Click Settings on blog you want to set up for the custom domain.

* Click Publishing

* Click Custom Domain

* Click on Switch to the advance setting

* Fill out Your Domain with the domain name you have set up for its DNS, do not forget to include www, the format is www.yourdomain, e.g. www.indodesigner.net. Fill in the verification words and then SAVE TEMPLATE.

* Done

The process of Custom domain in blogger has been done, but you may need time in order to access your blog with new domain. The process usually takes 24-72 hours, but many of blogs only needs 1 or 2 hours.
